    Swim Team 5-Day Schedule

    July 8th

    Clippers,

    Here is the schedule for the next 5 days, which are quite busy:

    Thursday (7/9)

    Friday (7/10)

    • Normal Morning Practice (No Little Clips)
    • Afternoon Make-Up Practice: 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM
      • Note: Please be in the water by 5:10 PM. If there are no swimmers by 5:10 PM, the coaches will cancel the remainder of practice.
    • Ilda Korean Night Community Dinner starts @ 6 PM in the Pavilion.
    • Yard Games Pep Rally: 7 PM - meet Coaches near the Pavilion!
      • Swim Team, Dive Team & Little Clips are all welcome to participate!

    Saturday (7/11) — Home A Meet - Senior Send-Off Celebration

    • Arrive by: 7:50 AM
    • Warm-up: 8:00 AM
    • Meet Starts: 9:00 AM
    • We will have 10M lollipop races across the deep end at 8:50 AM before the start of the meet for any younger swimmers who want to participate - no signup needed, just show up!
    • We will recognize our seniors who graduated this past spring.

    Sunday (7/12)

    • Deadline: Declare swimmers/Select events for Monday (7/13) B Meet by 2 PM.
      • Instructions on how to declare

      • You can select 2 normal events (25 M or 50 M swims, depending on age) and the 100 M IM if your swimmer is able to complete this event.
      • You can not sign up for an event where the swimmer placed 1st, 2nd, or 3rd at Saturday's A Meet.
      • Incorrect or invalid registrations will be adjusted without additional communication.

    Monday (7/13)

    • Swim Clinic hosted by the Fairfax Foxes (8 to 10 AM)
      • The Foxes are a year-round swim club that has helped several Clippers hone their skills in the offseason.  They will provide a free clinic to our swimmers during their normal practice times Monday morning. 
    • Normal Little Clips practice at 10:30 AM.
    • Final B Meet at Rutherford
      • Location: 4609 Marley Rd, Fairfax, VA
      • Parking: Additional street parking is available on Marley Rd. and Kristin Ln. Please follow Fairfax County regulations (do not park within 15 feet of a fire hydrant or 10 feet of a driveway).
      • Arrival: 5:10 PM – 5:15 PM
      • Warm-ups: 5:30 PM
      • Meet Starts: 6 PM
      • This event will have coach-assisted 10M and 25M Swim Events.
        • Little Clips are welcome to attend - please register in advance (see above)
      • Concessions will include Rutherford's normal snack shack menu, plus burgers, hot dogs and Vietnamese-inspired vermicelli noodle bowls. Apple Pay, Tap to Pay, and cash accepted.
