Swim Team Inclement Weather Policy:

For afternoon practices: 

Visit ilda-pool.org before leaving for practice.

If the status line reads "Thunder heard by guards at Time", take note of that time. The pool cannot reopen until 30 minutes after the last thunder was heard, and practices start times will be impacted.

If the pool can reopen by 4:30 PM:

• 4 PM practice will start as soon as able and end at 5 PM
• 4:45 PM practice will start at 5 PM and end at 5:30 PM
• 5:30 PM practice starts on time

 If the pool can reopen after 4:30 PM but before 5 PM:

• 4 PM practice will be cancelled
• 4:45 PM practice will start as soon as possible and end at 5:30 PM
• 5:30 PM practice will start on time

If the pool can reopen between 5 PM and 5:15 PM:

• 4 PM practice will be cancelled
• 4:45 PM practice will start as soon as able and end at 5:45 PM
• 5:30 PM practice will start at 5:45 PM and end at 6:15 PM

If the pool can reopen between 5:15 PM and 5:30 PM:

• 4 PM and 4:45 PM practices will be cancelled
• 5:30 PM practice will start on time

If the pool cannot reopen by 5:30 PM, all practices will be cancelled.

If thunder is heard after practice has started, please follow the coaches' instructions.
